Teaching activity

Teaching takes place at undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph. D. (three domestic, and three foreign students are currently working on their theses) levels in Hungarian and English.

The main teaching profile of the Department is Organic Chemistry for students of the Pharmaceutical Faculty in the 3rd and 4th semesters in 120 hours with parallel laboratory practicals, including seminars, in 165 hours. The subject is adjusted to the special requirements of the Faculty (connections particularly to Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Technology). This teaching activity is completed by various special courses at under- and postgraduate (including Ph. D.) levels (Computational Chemistry and QSAR Methods, Advanced Organic Chemistry, Theoretical Organic Chemistry), and by introduction of selected students into the research.
